Restricted & Prohibited Goods

Novantis Trade Group LLC provides logistics coordination support only. We do not coordinate, facilitate, or assist with the shipment of goods that are prohibited by law, restricted under applicable regulations, or that fall outside the scope of our services.

Prohibited Goods

Novantis will not coordinate shipments involving the following categories of goods (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives (without proper licensing)
  • Counterfeit goods or goods that infringe intellectual property rights
  • Goods prohibited by U.S. export control laws (EAR, ITAR) or international sanctions
  • Human remains or live animals (without proper permits and specialized handling)
  • Currency, negotiable instruments, or precious metals in violation of applicable law
  • Goods subject to trade embargoes or sanctions
  • Any goods prohibited by the laws of the origin or destination country

Restricted Goods

Certain goods may be coordinated only with proper documentation, permits, licenses, and third-party provider acceptance. These include but are not limited to: hazardous materials (HAZMAT), perishable goods, temperature-sensitive cargo, oversized or overweight freight, and goods subject to import/export licensing requirements.

It is the customer's responsibility to disclose all relevant information about their cargo, including any restricted, regulated, hazardous, or special-handling requirements, prior to submitting a coordination request.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring their shipments comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party provider requirements. Novantis assumes no liability for shipments that are seized, delayed, or refused due to the customer's failure to disclose accurate cargo information or comply with applicable requirements.

Transportation, customs, insurance, warehousing, payment processing, and related services are performed by independent third-party providers and are subject to their own terms, conditions, rates, service rules, limitations, and liability policies.
